Client: Road & Track Video: "Performance Car of the Year: 2026" Location: Northern California I recently had the pleasure of directing Road & Track's “Performance Car of the Year” video, which released just a few days ago. Nine cars (including the Lamborghini Temerario, the Ford Mustang GTD, the Porsche 911 GT3, and the Corvette ZR1, among others), two days at Thunderhill Raceway, two days on the backroads of Sonoma County – it's the “greatest work week ever” for the team of editors who came together to decide on the world's most thrilling car. While I've shot stills for Road & Track, this was my first time directing a video project for R&T and it was a trial-by-fire in how to capture both technical performance and the visceral experience of driving these cars at the limit, all while showing the decision-making process of a large team of editors.
